Glasses in a Day was started by a third generation optical practitioner looking to transform the optical business and bring the industry into the twenty-first century. Having been in the business since a young age, he realized that there had to be a better way to bring high quality, prescription eyewear to the consumer at both an affordable price and in a timely fashion. Glasses in a Day was founded to give consumers an alternative to high priced optical shops and national retail chains by providing superior value, fashionable products, and unsurpassed customer service.

How We Do It
We’re able to charge prices that are up to 70% below retail optical shops. We do this by directly purchasing our frames from manufactures around the world, essentially cutting out the middle man. In addition, we grind the lenses in our own state of the art laboratory located just outside Boston, Massachusetts.
Operating our own optical laboratory allows us to complete and ship your order the same day it’s received while also passing along those savings to you! All eyeglasses are proudly assembled, packaged, and shipped in the United States!
